See how different cultures celebrate the Lunar New Year with their own traditions. Symbolizing intelligence and flexibility, play as a cute rat in “Kitchen Runners”, scurrying through different food cultures of the world. Don’t forget to make your own lantern or lucky charm to take home! Join us at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga on February 1 and Varley Art Gallery in Unionville on February 2. For a “Musical Banquet”, indulge in the music that pieces together traditional Chinese instrumentals with the percussive beats of household items in a fusion performance by Chai Found Music Workshop on February 1 at the Living Arts Centre.
